Anyway, last Monday the parents came over to send off Farouk back to Egypt and they gave me….

My first birthday present!

I already got my present from the family albeit it being like a week or so early, I’m still not looking forward to my 21^st for a couple of reasons. It didn’t help when my mum kept saying, “21! Dua puluh satu! Kak Ngah dah besar..Enjoy your freedom!”

Is it just me or do you guys also think that time flies way too fast? I feel like it was yesterday I was in kindy with Izzah and Nazmi and now I’m about to turn 21. I’ll finish my internship in about a month’s time. I’m kinda dreading it because that means I’ll be moving on to my final year after this and I’m very much not prepared for it. Before you know it, I’ll be graduating and looking for a job soon after. *faints*

The way I see it, as the year goes by I’ll gradually grow older and with that “oldness” I’m expected – as society rules it to be - to have a certain amount of wisdom, maturity and to behave a certain way. What if five years down the line you see me still like this, playful, short fused and none the wiser of anything in this world?

Okay okay fine, I’m freaking out for no reason whatsoever but I know that there’re at least a couple of you out there who is as scared as I am right now. But we’ll be fine, yes?!

We will just have to be.

 LOL. Sam said I’m taking PR, I manipulate words so Abang Nazy couldn’t really blame me for answering the way I did.

 Anyway, yesterday was my Relax Day (quoting Michy) The weather was awesome, it rained for a bit and then it stayed cloudy for a while and we only felt the sun’s shine on the way back from the office. Plus we had nothing to do at the office so we improved our procrastination skills by well, procrastinating while eagerly waiting for the time when the whole office will leave in order to attend the Hi Tea the company held at the Grand Seasons Hotel. (Don’t ask why we were not invited, we’re interns, go figure) When the whole office finally left, Jason played Wedding Dash 2 on Kak Uji’s computer, Sam tried her darndest to sleep and then tried to beat the computer at Minesweeper while I rearranged Firdaus’ iTunes (which reminds me, es lilin Paddle Pop Rainbow satu!) Oh God we’re so bloody productive! Haha.

 Ooohhh, before I forget, I know you people reading this don’t listen to Suria but just to let you know, someone won RM 44K by tuning in to Suria’s sweeps contest, Teka Suara Siapa about a couple of days ago. I swear if I’d won that much of money, goodbye work, helloooooooo Macchu Picchu, Jensen Ackles, my own company and yellow Beetle TDI! Actually, I’ve a copy of the winner’s address, so anyone up for a road trip? Go kiss her ass a bit, beg her to adopt us and voila, instant richness baby!

But seriously la kan, what would you guys do with that much of money? I’d buy a new

iPod beeecaauusseee I kinda lost mine. *cuegasp* Haha. I only realised I lost it when I

was about to pay for lunch. I’m guessing I dropped it somewhere at the Masjid Jamek

LRT Station. But whattodo other than just accept the fact that Patrick III is, well, truly

gone. Of course, initially, I was rather guilty for somehow losing Patrick so I told the

mother but she was okay with it so I’m okay with it though I think she thinks I might

think too much about this so I’m expecting a call from her any minute now (If you guys

can actually understand that last sentence, you are very much my soulmate)

What I did found amusing though was that Sam and I were admiring the new iPod

Shuffle and choosing the colour we’d like if we were to buy it just a day earlier. And just

a few hours after I lost Patrick III, I kinda had problems operating Firdaus’ iTunes. So

was it me or did something cosmic happen thus making it “Apple – Products – Against

CT - Day”?

Anyhoo, before I go off (because I need to concentrate on watching Jensen Ackles in a suit, you know how guys in suits make me feel…Hehe) Orange Run at The Curve on 12^th April 2009. 11 km people! Admission’s free! Come la join. Lets experience one of the many forms of pure torture together, I promise you it’ll be fun! The roomie and I might join, kan Lai Mun kankankan?! =P
