I was checking out UTAR's intranet for my schedule two days ago when I realised I won't be going to class come Monday...

Ermmm...
I don't have internet connection at my new place so faham - faham jelah kann..The only way I get to check my emails and whatnots is when I'm in the office.
Anyway, for those of you who were asking how I'm coping with my industrial attachment, let me just say that I'm having a kick ass time!
My colleagues are a bunch of lively people who are also in danger of being borderline crazy. A day in the MarComm department is never boring, trust me!
Anyway, so far I've been practising my networking an negotiation skills (read:talking to supliers an various Suria FM listeners), my writing skills (read:writing dockets), and my art deco skills (read:decorating a mounting board for an event at KLCC)among others. I've also been reading ALL the major newspapers everysinglefriggin'day so I practically know everything there's to know or not to know about the world.
Working in a broadcast station is challenging because you'll never be out of work to do but despite the stress and hectic schedule, there are still loads of perks. Like next week, the interns will tag along with the crew to USJ for an event and we'll also be boarding a bus to join the crew on their road tour sometime next month. Then we're also given the responsibility to handle certain aspects of the road tour which I've admitedly screwed up a couple of times but thank God I've a wonderful mentor who didn't go up in flames whenever/if I screwed up. We do have to do grunt works at times but hey, everyone has to pay their dues right?!
So, I'm going off because I need to shower and I need as much sleep as I can get before Monday. Until next time!
