~ TOTallyTOT. Amazing.

My bunny plaster is coming off. Don't laugh okay! Desperate times calls for desperate measures. Haha. Mei Ling was the only one with a plaster and "lucky" for me it turned out to be a blue plaster with bunnies on it. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers right?! LOL.

Anyways, results came out on Friday two days later than they originally announced. My results are okay, I guess. A bit disappointed but there's always next time. B+ for Chinese. Damn happy okay! Haha. Missed the Dean's List by 0.1 which made me wanna bang my head on the wall. Haha.

Okay, moving on to other things. We've just entered our second week. So far so good. The lectures are pretty okay so far. The assignments on the other hand are starting to give me a headache already. You know, we're taking a subject called Multimedia Tools for Ad where we'll be taught on how to use Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver, I think. Wait, let me hyperventilate first! And then we found out that two of our assignments for said subject are to be done individually. More hyperventilating! People, if you love me or consider me as your friend, please pray I don't lose my sanity halfway through this sem okay..?! There's an upside to it though, we will get to use the Mac Lab! Haha. UTAR ni canggih jugak ye?! LOL.

To top it up, I've been feeling a bout of homesickness these last couple of days thanks to the parents who went back to Perlis to attend the funeral of a distant relative and celebrate my twin uncles' and my cousin's birthdays on Sunday. Wait, it gets more interesting than that. It turns out, almost all of my relatives went back, that includes my favourite uncle and aunt and cousin whom I haven't seen in a while. To make matters worse, the mother called me up to tell me that everyone went back and how they were in the midst of planning a birthday barbecue for the birthday boys and girl. Plus, she got my favourite cousin to call me to tell me that the shoes, that I love, that my mother bought for me, which I can't wear on account of it being too small, have been passed on to her..Hello, how to not feel homesick like thaaaattttt?! Ish!

But I'm going back next Friday, for the weekend, right after Dr Jaga's class. So, YAAAAYYYYY! Haha. Okay la, I need to go eat, friggin' hungry! So, I'm leaving you guys with this...

"It's my 21st Birthday. Honk for me!"

LOL.

" Maybe they can invent an LCD TV with a hidden camera in it.."

"Hidden camera? For what?"

"Security purposes. You know, if a thief breaks into your house, then the hidden camera can capture everything..."

"Darling, the first thing the thief would go for would be your LCD TV. Ada hidden camera also no use..."

Oh, and how can I forget my favourite quote of the week,

" How can I be a racist? I'm one half of each!" - Yvonne retaliating after someone accused her of being a racist

Haha. My friends crack me up everyday. Non friggin' stop! It's like, after the laughter have died down, someone will crack some joke or say something ridiculous and off we go once again.

Aaaannyywaaayysss, I wanted to blog about this last week but I procrastinated (big whoop there). So, last Wednesday (I think) a bunch of us lepak - ed at the mamak stall in front of PF Block while waiting for the next class to start. So, we were sitting and chatting when a guy plonked down a glass of iced tea, in front of Anne, Eliza and I, and promptly said,

"Ada orang belanja. Meja 5."

"Mana meja 5? Untuk siapa?"

Then, before the guy could show us which one was meja 5, Sze Yi quipped, "Oh CT, it's your tea! Kyle owed you tea!"

"But I wanted teh tarik not iced tea.."

Haha. Friggin' ingrate right?! LOL. But pushing aside the fact that Kyle bought me the wrong drink, it was SO much like a Hollywood movie moment okay!

To the one who...

...has always been the patient one

...had always had to be the referee between the brother and I

...lends me her shoes

...had to fetch from PJ because I don't know how to get to Cyberjaya on my own. Haha.

...cringes everytime I hold my favourite duck near her

...leaves me exasperated because she tends to not act her age

...has always been by my side even when I'm pissed or annoyed at her. My rock, my friend, my confidant, my partner - in - crime but most of all, my sister.

Happy 25th Birthday Kak Long!

Love always.

"Tech challenged? Gal, among the 100+ gals I've met, I think you rank 1st in

computer knowledege. Seriously. " - Danny.

Weh, bangga weh! This came from a guy who used to give me sympathetic looks and sighs everytime I ask him about my iPod. There was once, he was talking to Melvin about computers and I totally zoned out and he cut the conversation short with a, "Mel, I'll talk to you later. Somebody is about to die of boredom.." Aduh, pedas!

Anyway, I've basked in the compliment last night, so lets move on to Mia's tag.

I thought about this in the shower weh. Damn power or not?! Haha. Anyways, like Mia said, it's hard to choose because there are a lot of memories in the 20 years that I've lived my life. Eh wait, 15+ years because I don't remember my life when I was 2 years old. Do you?! If you can, hello, I salute you!

Anyways, I've decided that it's a toss up between 2003 and 2005 but 2003 wins because of the sole reason that I think, 2003 was the year I made a lot of friends. You know, friends like sahabat, teman. The people you can count on, that sorta thing...

You guys, remember 3 Cempaka or not? The fun we had eventhough it was our turn to sit for PMR. I remember Pn Haliza was SO worried about us because we never took things seriously. Well, not until like a month before PMR, that is. I remember Nana whom I can always hear singing some random songs(one of the songs she used to sing in class was Gareth Gates' Say It Isn't So) eventhough she was sitting at the other side of the classroom. Sharon who was my deskmate, with whom I'd always have small disagreements with. Usually over silly stuffs, like what colour is a colour pencil or how to spell "born" etc. She also had this ability to read my moods. Usually, after recess, she'll come into class and we'll almost always have this conversation everyday;

"You're pissed off."
"How'd you know?"
"Because I can practically see smokes coming out of your ears.."

Haha. And then there was Ling, who used to sleep in class and then turns to me with uber - manjafied voice, "Tottot, can I borrow your book?!" Kae Sin and Mian Li who used to sit opposite Sharon and I with whom we'd always compete against during Gerak Gempur Math. My laling who sat in front of Ling. Mia, who was SO obsessed about the new HP book that came out that year.

Those people were my classmates. And then there were those who were from the neighbouring classes. Like, Ber. One of my closest friends who was from Dahlia. Whom I realised was not the quiet girl I thought she was in Form 1 but rather a maniac in fact. Haha. Hanna, whom I knew through EJ. I used to refer to them as the dynamic duo from Ho Seng Ong (sp?!) They were and still are funny people la okay! One's a helter skelter type of girl, which, don't get me wrong, is kinda cute and one has this "muka plastik" which basically means, poker face la.

It wasn't just the people I met but also what we did as a group. Like covering for Ling everytime Mr Wong comes looking for her and convening in the PR after recess and walking back to class together. Ganging up and annoying the hell out of each other and then making up after 5 minutes. We did a lot of things that made each other laugh one minute and pissed off the next. But at the end of the day, we'll always kiss and make up (not literally okay. I know la all - girls school and all..LOL.) We've had our highs and lows, we've disagreed and we've fought. I may have been rarely in contact with some of these people but they're always in my heart, cliched as it may sound. I read a quote somewhere about a guy who moved away and when the interviewer asked his friends if they still keep in touch with him and they answered, "I think we've gotten past the stage where we have to keep in touch with each other everyday. We know we're the best of friends and we don't think that we need to broadcast that to everyone. They just have to look at us." Somehow, I believe that too. We may not talk to each other often but I know that whenever I meet up with these people, it's gonna be like time has never passed.

=)

P/S : Anne, I'll update about you guys someday. Tabs' being a bitch and I can't upload your pics. Mia, I'll do the second tag soon. =)

~ TOTallyTOT. Just Because.

I was on the phone talking to darling Berlina last night, when I had to excuse myself for a while because J was asking me a question. So, I thought I had covered the mouthpiece properly and I answered J with a;

"Can you get it from Boy?"

To which dearest Ber heard,

"Can you get me some boys?!"

*smacksforehead*

Nevertheless, it was SO much fun talking to you, Ber, after such a long time. I don't think I can make it for your farewell tomorrow afternoon. Have fun tomorrow and all the best in Johor! Like my mum said, "Happy marketing!" Haha.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anne : CT, saye ade pengikut - pengikut yang ramai. Adekah awak ingin menjadi pengikut saye juga?
Me : Kenape pulak saye nak jadi pengikut awak? Saye ade kumpulan sendiri. Ini geng 1, itu geng 2!
Amrit : *pointing to my group* Saye nak ikut die!
I don't know who or how it started but my friends and I decided to memartabatkan bahasa kebangsaan by talking in BM all the way. So, today, we declared a zon bahasa kebangsaan which was basically the radius around us. So, if anyone was in our area, they had to basically speak in BM too.
And that was why our conversations today were punctuated with,
"Ape - ape je lah." (English translation : "Whatever!")
"Cakap kepade tangan!" (" Talk to the hand!")
"Bagi saye sepuluh!" ("Gimme ten!")
But it was fun, talking and insulting each other in BM. Like when Mun Kit called our (Sze Yi, Lai Mun, Amrit, Yvonne and I) group the lame (from the word "lame" but pronounced as la-mey because no one could come up with the translation for that particular word..Haha) group and we in turn referred to them (Mun Kit and Anne) as the terencat akal group.
Oh yeah, which reminds me I still haven't uploaded the picture I took with my new friend right?!
Well, here it is..
Her name's Nurul Ayuda but..
her real name is really
Ms Wong Lai Mun. Really.
Anyone of you got fooled?! Please raise your hand! Haha.
Fine, I'll admit that one of the reasons I'm being a class A bitch tonight is the fact that he just flew back to the other side of the world.
I'm sorry people. I miss him already. And I'm admitting it.
So there.
You, I know you're reading this. I just wanna say, safe flight and the next time you come home, make sure it is for more than 10 days, okay?
Still at 1435! Haha.
~ TOTallyTOT. How Beautiful It Is.
"They didn't agree on much. In fact, they rarely agreed at all. They fought all the time & challenged each other everyday. But in spite of their differences, they had one thing in common, they were crazy about each other."
I have Sujit Saraf's The Peacock Throne in my hands but I stopped reading it after three pages and started reading Fiona Walker's Kiss Chase again. Aside from Philippa Gregory's The Other Boleyn Girl, Kiss Chase has to be one of my favourites.
But the funny thing is, everytime I get near the end, where the main character is about to dump her pseudo - boyfriend (an act of revenge on behalf of her friend..) I have this tendency to just stop reading. Because the way I see it, if I stop reading, Phoebe doesn't dump Felix and that's just the way I like it.
I don't know where I'm going with this. It's just that I love this book. The plot's very interesting. The whole famous-bad-boy-meets-equally-wild-girl-whom-he-starts-to-love-just-because-she's-real. I like it that they hated each other at first but ended up being together with him falling in love with her because she accepts his flaws the way they are and her, scheming with her friend to rip out his heart and trample it but ended up accidentally falling in love with him, just because...
I know it's too good to be true but hey, a girl can hope, right?!
=)
~ TOTallyTOT. Dodging.
"CT, here's ten bucks for dinner."
"No need la. You drove us to and fro so, tonight, dinner's on us."
"No no. Take the money but tomorrow, let me shoot you a lot of times okay? I'll call your name and then you stand in front of me and I'll shoot you.."
Haha. So, the reason why Harvey wants to "shoot" me tomorrow is because we're going paintball-ing!! Haha. After SO long of wishful thinking, I finally get to go for a paintball session. Or is it speedball. Don't know la kan. I'll let you people know when I get back. That is, if I can type la...
Anyways, just got back from dinner with Bee Chin, Sze Yi, Dada and Harvey. Will blog more, soon but until then, night people!
~ TOTallyTOT.
I'd just found out from Chicken that Ms Sageena showed my group's TVC to her Broadcasting lecture class. I told Sze Yi about it and the only thing she said was,
"Luckily I wasn't at the shoot. Haha."
No I'm not gonna upload the TVC on my blog because I do not want to be the laughing stock. But I might upload it if you ask nicely. Haha.
Anyways, if you see anyone with a paper bag over their head on Monday, you know who la kan..
~ TOTallyTOT. Behave.
"Di medan, takde kawan. Semue musuh.." - Harvey
Semangat eh the guy?! Anyways, speedball was funfunfunfunFUNFUNFUNNN! Oh btw, the difference between speedball and paintball is that when you play speedball, you have bunkers that you can hide behind but paintball on the other hand is usually played in an open area. So there, info from the marshall there. Haha
Harvey picked Bee Chin and I up at 1pm and we went straight to the yoga centre at SS2 where we met up with Reeve and Tay Xin. Hung out with Dada for a while and just when we were about to go off, Dada came in and asked us if we could stay just for a while more to help him demonstrate saftey tips to some kids who were there for a Yoga for kids session. Then, we went out and Harvey had to be the injured victim and we had to carry him. So, as we carried Harvey, Dada explained to the kids that they will have to redemonstrate after our demonstration and you can see the kids visibly panicking. And when it was their turn to try out, everybody hid behind somebody else. Damn cute la the kids! Wished I could stay longer..LOL.
Then, after the demonstration, we sped off to Subang, to TT Sports Park, next to Sheraton Hotel. We arrived and we had to sign this waiver stating our emergency contacts etc while waiting for Danny. After that, we strapped on our vests and went for a short briefing at the shooting range. Bee Chin and I were on the green team with Jia Leong and Reeve mainly because Jia Leong had played before so, we thought we could win la kan with him on the team. And the other team comprised of Danny, Harvey, Tay Xin and Pei See.
After about 10 minutes of briefing where we learnt that the gun's not called a gun but markers and the facemasks should be worn at all times, and to always keep the parasocks(sp?) safety pin on when not in the field, we went to Field 4, the Rendezvous field, to start our game.
"Dah masuk field nanti CT, no mercy ah?!" - Danny
First game. Bee Chin and I were the back ups so we basically had to cover Jia Leong's and Reeve's asses as they move forward to try infiltrate the other team's camp. I was backing up Jia Leong and firing at Danny when I felt this sharp sting down my back and saw that Danny got me but the bullet didn't burst, so I was still in the game. Then, of course la, sakit hati already, have to exact my revenge la right?! After that, I made it my sole mission to get Danny back and after a few shots, he went out! Haha. Victory weh! Anyways, we went on to win the first game when Jia Leong ended the game by chasing Tay Xin and asking her to surrender. There were a couple of injuries that Danny and Bee Chin, I think suffered. One on the upper arm and one on the knuckles, both bloodied. Tsk tsk. Violent jugak we all. Haha
Then, we rested for a while and watched another group playing speedball. And then, it was our turn again. This time, we switched sides and after a few minutes of strategising, the game started. After a few casualties on both sides, I think Reeve was shot again and had to go out, we won the game, again. Thanks to Jia Leong who chased Harvey which resulted in Harvey waving the white flag.
Third game started after a while and not too long after that, I realised Bee Chin had been shot at and had to go out. Then Reeve. Then Jia Leong. That, of course, left me. Alone. Against three opponents. Kinda scary actually because nobody was there to back you up. And then, before I know it, the marshall called the game off because they said it was impossible for me to take on three people. Besides, while I was firing at one person, apparently a couple others were already creeping behind me. Lucky thing they called the game off, if not, I think I'd have more bruises than I already have. Haha.
Fourth game, we decided to play touch base where we have to try to touch the other's team base to win. So, we decided to send Jia Leong to carry out the task and we decided to employ an attack strategy. Reeve and I would move to the middle bunkers while Jia Leong and Bee Chin would stay on the right. Nevertheless, less than 10 minutes, Reeve and I went out and left Jia Leong and Bee Chin battling it out with the other team and before we knew it, Harvey came running from behind with every intention to shoot at Bee Chin but decided against it and touched our base.
Fifth game, we decided to employ a defensive strategy because our previous strategy failed miserably. So, played for a bit and got shot at(and missed) by Harvey and while I was checking my shirt for splattered paint (just to confirm that I was still in the game..)Harvey shot at me and hit my left index finger. Weh, sakit gile! And then after I went out, Reeve followed suit and then Bee Chin. Then, while Jia Leong was busy pursuing someone, Tay Xin sneaked up from behind and touched our base, again.
So, at the end of the day, if it was up to the other team, they'd say that they beat us 3-2 but we think that the third match was a draw since the game was stopped before I was shot. LOL. Anyways, we finished our game just as it started to drizzle. So, the marshall took us to the shooting range and told us to finish up our bullets. I had one left while the others still got a few except for Bee Chin and Harvey who ran out of bullets in the middle of the last game. Damn sad. Haha. Then, took some pictures which are still with Tay Xin. I'll post them up once I get them, pinkypromise! Haha.
In a nutshell (cewah! Macam buat karangan pulak. Haha)it was a fun game. It was rather extreme and I counted four bruises so far. One on my left index finger. One on my upper right arm. One on my lower left leg and one on my upper right thigh. Haha. Mengade kan?!
"Wei Danny, rematch ah?!"
"Cannn! No problem"
"Eh, lets get more people to join us..."
"Yeah, you guys go and get 6 more people la. My team, we'll go and find one more person. That way you guys will have an advantage over us."
"Wei, riak weh! Kitorang kalahkan your team baru tau!"
"Alah, I pakai blindfold pun boleh menang punye!"
Haha. He was provoking me, frankly. You know la, I'll definitely rise to his bait because I'm a sore loser. I can't stand losing. Well, I can stand it but not when the opponent's provoking la. LOL.
Anyways, I'd recommend this game to anyone who likes extreme sports or even if you don't, just go. I swear by the end of the game, you'll be much addicted to the game and would plan the next game by the time you step into your car. Okay la exaggerating a bit but go la people..Friggin' fun!
~ TOTallyTOT. Game On!
I'm sore all over.
Therefore, the lesson of the day is, alwaysalwaysalways warm up before you start exercising especially since the last time you actually exercised was when you were still a girl in pigtails and playing batu seremban at one corner of the Perhentian Puteri.
Anyways, on to weirder and stupider (so said Meryll..) things;
This girl
and
this guy
witnessed by Anne and Meryll, have made a bet to stay single until the end of this year.
So, I, as the referee or judge or whatever it is you wanna call me have decided to mention this in my blog for a couple of reasons.
1) Mun Kit jie said that they should sign a contract to make this bet black and white but since we were at the mamak stall and nobody was willing to dig up their bags for pen and paper, I said I'll post this on my blog.
2) If anyone and I mean, aaannnyyyoonnnee of you ever catches one of these two or both dating, actually dating-makingout-holdinghands kinda thing with someone else, please contact me or Anne. Haha.
Loser will have to treat the winner, the referee AND the witnesses to lunch or was it dinner? I don't know la, I wasn't paying attention but I did hear Secret Recipe. Haha
