It was 4pm and the heavy rain was just subsiding. I was trying to concentrate on Ms Jaslina's last few slides and when she finished, I got up to get out of the freezing hellhole that was PC203. Then, while waiting for Sze Yi who went to the toilet, I heard Mei Ling tell me to wait for her. I didn't suspect anything because sometimes we go back together. After a while, I noticed most of my classmates were still sitting down and talking but again, I didn't suspect anything because well, I thought, it was raining outside so maybe they were waiting for the rain to subside even more. Then, Anne came in with a, "Wei, CT! You know whaaaatttt...Come here come here!". So, she practically screamed at Kelvin, Francis and Sunny to give way to me and she trapped me between Francis' and someone else's table and she started telling me;
"You know what, just now, got two Indian girls making out outside the gates wei! Amrit and I saw!"
I literally gaped. I mean, hello, who wouldn't right after hearing a story about two girls making out in public outside the campus' gates pulak tu! Then, Francis also;
"That's not bad la. You should hear my friend's..."
Then, you know what, I heard a chorus of voices singing a Happy Birthday song and Meryll came in through the front door with a cake. My cake's very the cute okay. Got two babes and a Doraemon on it. LOL. So basically, it was all a ploy la. The whole "story" by Anne and Amrit. Francis helped too by making sure I looked at him who was sitting down instead of at Anne who was standing up to distract me from seeing Meryll who came in through the front door.
After the whole singing, which according to Sze Yi were of three different versions - English, Mandarin and Canto - took pictures which are still with my friends. Then Mun Kit, seperti kebiasaan asked me to take out the candles using my mouth so that he can push my face into the cake (he does that to everyone) but knowing him, I took it out using my hands. Just as I thought I was safe, out came a hand from behind, smearing icing onto my cheeks while I was cutting the cake. Sah sah timunsawikangkungkobispetai that guy! I knocked over tables and chairs in my haste to get him back but he was too fast. Then, the guy went on an icing - smearing rampage and started smearing cream on almost everyone's face including Anne who chased him around the lecture room. But he was too fast. After a few rounds of trying and failing to exact our revenge on him, we decided to let him go and pounce on him when he was least expecting it. Who knew, suddenly I heard Kyle shouting "CT, go get your revenge! Anne's holding Mun Kit down!" but tak sempat.
After a while, I heard a commotion behind me and I turned around and saw Mun Kit being attacked by people trying to smear icing. So, sensing my chance to finally kenakan him back, I went to smear icing on him la but I don't know what that guy's made of or what he ate la kan, the next thing I know, he had already caught my arms so that I couldn't do anything to him. On the other hand, the guy pun satu, in the heat of the moment, he didn't realise that by holding my arms, he was left vulnerable so Sze Yi and a few others started attacking him on my behalf. ( I SO sayang them la!) In order to do that la kan, we had to still him a bit by pushing into him and the desk he was on started to topple over but luckily for him, a few people held him up from behind and we managed to grab his arms right on time.If not, sure accident wei!
Sorry, we didn't snap any pictures or record anything because everyone was too excited seeing Mun Kit getting what he deserved. LOL. Sayang jugak la. If not, sure can post it on YouTube...Haha.
But I had fun la you guys. TOTALLY didn't expect it. And thank you for waiting until the lecture's done before celebrating and I thank God that it rained because then your initial plan to celebrate it in OldTown had to be cancelled. =P
