Got tagged by Ling

each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. people who get tagged must write in a blog of their own bout ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. at the end you must choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. no tag backs!

So here goes...

1.     Sometimes, my dreams come true. Not dreams as in aspirations kinda dreams. More like the dreams I get when I go to sleep....

2.      I. Hate. Needy. People. Nuff said.

3.     I  adore guys who are sharp dressers. They know how to take care of themselves.

4   I hate it when people say, "Oh you're name's CT? Like CT Nurhaliza..." Let me make it clear. WE ARE TWO VERY DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND I HAVE NO DESIRE WHATSOEVER TO BE LUMPED IN THE SAME CATEGORY AS HER!

5.      I hate it when people point out how rough I am, how boyish I am or how "girls shouldn't act like that". I'm like THIS! Get over it.

6.      Like ADIK Ming, I can't stomach spich food. Don't ask me why. Only one in my family who couldn't. Makes it hard for my mum to cook spicy food when I'm around.

7.      A couple of my friends think I  was born in the UK since my IC number is different than theirs (ie: 35 and not 08) To be honest, Ime started it first and I just never got around to, urm, correcting her.

8.  I used to(past tense here, people) like one of my classmates. Since then, I realised it was more of a sympathy thing than others...

9.  I can't stop watching reruns of Friends and ER...

10. I wish somebody will offer me money to study abroad(somewhere far far far away) so that I can get away from certain people.

So, there...Little known facts about me or whatever you wanna call them. And with that, I tag....

1) Ime

2) Jared

3) Khael

4) Michy Lee

5) Jolynn

6) KL

Here's a story.

We came out of Finance tutorial and I tapped Pei Wen on the back and told him to explain this question about taxes and then I ran off to the Ladies.

I came out and saw my whole class standing in front of the toilet, laughing. Then;

Sze Yi : Pei Wen was searching for you and when we told him you went to the toilet, he went in to search for you, in the Gents.

~ TOTallyTOT. I Find Myself Thinking..

So, Yoga Society's first meeting was yesterday. For the uninformed, yes, I'm a member of UTAR's Yoga Society and an Exco at that too..You may start your "What?!"s, and "Sure or not?!"s...now.

ANYway, we'll be having a talk on what in the world is Tantra Yoga next week. And I just found out that committee members are supposed to go for training during the holidays so that we can brush up on our muscle-bending and leg-twisting skills so that should the instructor can't make it, WE have to take over. I wonder how many members will back out of the session when they found out we're the subs....

AND should the whole training camp works out, VEGETARIAN CUISINES will be served during the whole duration of the camp...

Again, for the uninformed, I don't eat veggies. I'm trying to think up ways to smuggle meat into the camp...Ideas?!

Oh what in God's given world have I gotten myself into?!

I haven't been feeling so good over the past few days. I think I came down with fever, only I didn't notice it.

But right now, what's bothering me is my throat. It's bloody sore. I can't swallow liquid without wanting to scream. I think it's inflamed...

Heeellllpppp!

~ TOTallyTOT. You. Suck. The.End.

Scenario : You go to the mall and you see this beautiful pair of shoes on display. Problem is, the ones on display are not in your size. So, you search around for the promoters and when you've finally tracked one down, you proceeded to ask him/her ever - so - nicely if they happen to have these shoes in your size. And then - surprise, surprise - instead of smiling and agreeing to look around, he/she gives you a can't-you-see-i'm-talking-to-my-friend-here-you-moron look. At the end of the day, either you stomp out of the shop without your shoes or you get your shoes but vow, as long as you shall ever live, you nor your descendants are ever going to step one toe into that shop. The end.

..Unfortunately for us here at MC, Petaling Jaya, we can't stomp out and vow to never return. You see, here, our launderette is full of people whom, lets just say, I won't nominate as employees of the month.

You go there every week to send your laundry. You see no one manning the counter so you press the teeny tiny silver bell on the counter. You wait for five minutes, still no one. You press the bell again. Then someone rushes out from the back room, cursing a mile a minute at you for pressing the bell more than once. It seems there's an unspoken/unwritten rule where you can only press the bell once.

You give them your laundry bag, and they practically hurl it across the room to where you see other unfortunate bags of other unfortunate residents sit.

After four days, you return to the hellish place they call the launderette to retrieve your laundry. You give them your card, they look at you, unsympathetically, and go, "Hari Jumaat punye, tak siap lagi," ( "Friday's loads are not done yet." ) No apologies. It was delivered like the time the PM delivers the budget.

And the one time you see the counter manned, it is manned by idiots. You give one of the idiots your laundry card and wait for him to return with your bag. And for those painful five minutes, you have to endure the other idiots efforts to flirt with you.

Sad part is, I have three more years to go.

~ TOTallyTOT. Something Lovely.

My dad's coming home tooooddaaayyyy! And he promised me new sneakers cause my old ones are worn out. Asked him to get one from Slovenia but he couldn't get them cause he was on the way to board his flight to Vienna. BUT THEN, he promised to get me new ones this weekend! My mum said we're going to get real good ones cause this is the third, fourth (?!) pair I've worn out in the space of a year.

Neeewwwww shoooeeesss and a reason to see my parents! I should be jumping up and down but I can't cause I think I hurt my legs.

Which brings me to my next story..

YOGA IS A HELL LOT OF FUN! JOINJOINJOINJOINJOIN!

Haha. Promoting Yoga pulak.

But seriously, it WAS fun. So we had to bend and stretch and endure muscle pain and sore joints at the end of the day but it is kinda worth it....

And the company was even better. I had Bee Bee in front and Sze Yi on my right. We had a laugh, we learnt new positions, and we made new friends...

So yeah, ignore my mind - numbingly pessimistic view on yoga a week ago, I'm kinda looking forward to next week's class.

~ TOTallyTOT. I've had enough of not believing.

Okay, the last time a guy held the door for me was 3,098,753 years ago.

Of course I'm exaggerating. But seriously?!

The last time a guy held the door for me was on my first day here. I mean, on my very first day here. And that was almost a year ago. And since then, I've yet to meet a guy who even comes close to that guy, whom by the way, was a total stranger.

The guys in my class?! Let me just say, I have a better chance of being the Prime Minister of Malaysia than any one of them treating us like ladies.

So, it was only natural that I stopped right in my tracks and bumped into a table when on Monday, Pei Wen volunteered to carry our stuff. And then, I got back to MC and met another friend whom I just do not see as a gentleman, one way or another. But I was to be suprised yet again when this guy actually held the door for me and ushered me in first(complete with the whole polite bow thingy. You know, the-ladies-first bow). And then, to top it off, he actually sent me back to my block.

Is there any epidemic that affects guys and changes their behaviour from complete asses to complete gentlemen that I don't know about?!

~ TOTallyTOT. Being A Part Of It.

My 19th birthday (yes, I'm 19 and as someone put it, "in the prime of my live" *cough*) celebration began as early as Saturday. Parents came down from Ipoh and my sister and I joined them for a couple of days of shopping spree.

Me papa got his youngest daughter a brand new pencil case which I haven't used cause the space is kinda small for me to stuff my stationeries in it, and a satchel from Vienna and tonnes of chocs! Oh and this silver bracelet that absolutely no one knows how to wear. My sister got a handbag, which I tried to prise off her hands, but she wouldn't let me. My brother got...Urm, I don't really remember cause he wasn't there, he had to work. Ptsk.

Dearest parents also gave me brand new Nike sneakers as a birthday present. White with metallic gold designs which I bleeding love! Though the whiteness is driving me crazy cause I've so far, spilled a bit of coffee on them and stood on a wet pavement, so now, the white is kinda tarred with a bit of blue stains from my jeans. No worries, I managed to exert some damage control on it..Haha.

Second day, I actually forced my sister to get me a birthday present. And she got me a RM10 watch. Whatever la kan...As long as I got a present from her.

Then, got back to MC and went out again with Bee Bee and Sze Yi to Han Ying's place for a steamboat party. Everyone managed to get their gorgeous asses over to SS2 with the exception of Lee Lee and Zi Yun. We got there a bit early and helped with the preparations. Around 7pm, when everyone was there, minus my darling Ke Teng, they switched off the lights and next thing I knew, there was this loud, albeit off key(courtesy of Balan) singing of "Happy Birthday". Yep yep, the steamboat party turned into a surprise birthday party for yours truly and jie.

The party went on till nearly midnight. The steamboat was perfect! Xiu Xin made the curry gravy which was DOUBLE, TRIPLE PERFECT! Must. Learn. From. Her. Rounds of photo snapping and video capturing and arguments and games of Blackjack and Chinese Chess and magic shows (courtesy of Li Yuen and Balan) and drinking out of other people's cup and falling back(literally)onto your classmate and of course, pigging out, happened soon after. Oooohhh and I finally got the hang of eating-with-chopsticks. And I've the pictures to prove it too! Haha.

Monday started with Sze Yi and Bee Bee presenting me with this bracelet/necklace/anklet thingy. Yeah, no one knows what it actually is. I say it's a necklace-cum-choker cause it's too long to be a bracelet. Bee Bee insisted it's a bracelet as she has tried it before and Sze Yi said it's an anklet. I'll let you people know how it goes....

So, before I end this post, I'd like to personally thank these people (and it's also cause Ej demanded it):

To those who wished me personally:

~ My classmates, the TB12 people. Especially Lee Lee, who wished me almost a week earlier. And the rest, for planning, and coming to the party. Fionn, who was the mastermind. Mr Boo and Aileen, for the "fish" globe, jie for the handphone holder, Bee Bee and Sze Yi for the "still unidentified object". LOL.

~ TOTallyTOT. Wheelbarrow.

Here's a question for UTAR's admin.

What did WE (Stream B students) do wrong to have this unbearable, torturous of a subject that we all call Finance introduced into our syllabus?!

Finance is eugheugheugheugh!!! I've tried being optimistic but now.....UGH!

I've a midterm this Saturday. I've so far, read two chapters out of six that will be tested on that day. And as I thumbed through the pages, none of the words or theories or explanations actually made sense!

OHMYGOD! I'm gonna die young!

Cause of death - Finance.

This statement is long overdue.

I miss Marco.

I don't miss him, miss him. As in, I don't miss the person. I miss the manhunt(s) that we would launch as soon as someone's radar picked up on his whereabouts. It was so much fun!

This swearing-off-guys thing is actually making my days uneventful....

~ TOTallyTOT.

Today, I spent a record of 9 1/2 hours in campus. Yep yep, from 8 am to 5.30 pm. Of course I was there to do something (I don't normally get up THAT early)

Initially, being ambitious, we decided to meet up at 8am(with the exception of Kelvin, who told us that he won't be able to get up that early, we told him he should be there by 8.30am.) But of course he only got there at 9am. Anyhoo, as a result of being stuck at that freezing hell of a place,we managed to finish up our Finance assignment and we actually started doing our Web Page assignment which still has a long way to go (Lesson of the day : Never EVER procrastinate, kids)

By afternoon, I nearly fell asleep while typing and Kelvin was busy getting cramps (which led us to conclude that he will not do well in desk jobs) And it definitely didn't help that I kept seeing these people that I absolutely do not want to see. I don't know, maybe I have this unknown magnet that seems to attract these people....

Anyhoo, managed to get everything done by 1pm but we couldn't go back yet because we had yoga. Sheesh! Today, we split up the class into two and somehow I managed to get myself stuck in the second class with Mi Shel and Wen Chien. Don't get me wrong, I like Ms Latika, only her workouts are uber slow! I mean Ms Ainjalie's slow but Ms Latika's even slower. I actually nearly fell asleep while doing the Corpse Posture. Yep, I didn't want to get up when it was time to get up and for once, I actually wanted to just ignore everything and sleep there...until Wen Chien poked me, hard. Then I had to get up.

After the general class, committees had to stay back and Ms Ainjalie taught us next week's workout which is Kaoshiki aka the Yoga Dance. You see, I don't dance and Yifangsaurus said I dance like a monkey and when Ms Ainjalie said that we'll be dancing, I immediately went "Ugh!" I was being pessimistic for a reason.

The dance requires us to have good excellent hands - feet coordination which safe to say, none of us in the room had. Ms Ainjalie was doing perfect swaying, feet - stomping steps while we were trying to keep up. Okay not so much trying as it was laughing and giggling and pointing at each other for not doing it right...

Again, my joints are sore as hell and I can't feel my right upper arm. And I have Web Page practical assessment tomorrow. Eyyyy~! Heard it was hell for TB11. I need Kelvin tomorrow.....Ish.

So, there I was, snapping pictures of Ka Mun for our Web Page assignment when Mr Mahen said out loud;

Mr Mahen : Aiseh, tangkap gambar pulak...
Me : It's for our assignment la sir.
Mr Mahen : Oh, okay okay. But you people should only take picture when you look good maaa..
Me : *looking at him* Siiiirrrr, are you trying to imply something?!
Mr Mahen : *realising his mistake* No no. I didn't mean anything...
Ms Foo : Aiyo, you know looks are important for these girls you know...
Mr Mahen : Aiseh, later she commit suicide pulakkk....

Then I heard Mr Mahen telling Ms Foo the reason he's teasing the crap out of us now is because he won't get a chance to do that anymore as we're leaving soon...

Adoi~!

And to end this perfect day in this perfect month, here's a couple of brithday shoutouts to Fatin and Dan,

~ Happy 18th to Fatin! ~

and

~ Happy 20th to Dan! ~

*Here's to a kick - ass celebration and year ahead! Cheers!*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
During Finance replacement class(...cause on Monday, someone cancelled the class because that same someone injured himself in a basketball game some time over the weekend)
Mr James : You have all gone through the tutorial right?!
Thinking he meant that we already went through last week's chapter in tutorial, we didn't contradict him. So, he went on explaining about this week's chapter which drew blanks from most of us when someone piped out..
Faye : Sir, we haven't gone through this chapter's tutorial...
Mr James : Why haven't you covered the tutorial for this chapter?!
Faye : Beeecccaauuussee, you cancelled our class on Monday so right now, we're one class behind the rest...
Sze Yi : Did he hurt his leg or his head?!
Then, he started the chapter all over again..In the middle of the chapter,
Mr James : You understand right? I mean, you have all gone through the tutorial..
Me : Okay, he definitely hurt his head.
