Mama : Kak ngah, kalau nak cari suami, cari like your papa. First, he must look like a Chinese..
Me : *at which point I interrupted* I might as well just find a Chinese guy kann...
Mama : Boleh, boleh. Mama bagi green light. And then the first time you see him, he must be wearing a pink shirt, bell bottom pants. He must be waiting at the bus stop and he loves going on ferries....
Me : *shakes head*

The reason?!

My dad gave me mama some money out of the blue. So my mum, jokingly, went all grateful and started listing out the characteristics of her future son - in - law, hence the conversation above.....

Yeah, I'm 19 and I've gotta start looking for guys in pink shirts and bell bottom pants..Guess I'd better start hanging out at bus stops then.

Mama : Aren’t any of your friends back in Ipoh yet?

Me : Nope.

Yep, my mum actually asked me that. I think she wants to get me out of the house…

And then over lunch, we were watching this series on TV3, “Aku, Dia dan Capetown” and Umie Aida and Eizlan Yusuf starred as a couple who were recently divorced and who have a daughter, Ana. So the scene went like this;

Umie : I nak bagi balik hak penjagaan Ana dekat you

Eizlan : Kenape? I thought you wanted it.

Mama aka Commentator Tak Bertauliah 1 : Entah perempuan ni, kejap nak, kejap tak nak..

Umie : What made you do it? Kenape you sanggup serahkan Ana dekat I?

Eizlan : *hesitates*

Me aka Commentator Tak Bertauliah 2 : Hah, kan dah terkedu! Orang nak bagi balik, ambik je laaa…

That, ladies and gents, is a true testament of WHY I should get out of the house.

And then as we continued watching the drama, the talk, our talk turned to relationships and my mum asked me about Zhen….

*smacks forehead*

RANDOM : I like the name Acland…Do you think I can somehow name my future son Acland?

So, I'm back.

Here I am, in semi - deserted MC, wishing that I didn't have to come back..

Coming back here is as equivalent as having to listen to "The Cheeky Song"...Which is torture, just in case some of you didn't get it.

Tomorrow, I shall face my first lecture at 10am. What subject? I have no idea. It's either Finance or Web Page Design. Frankly, I'm wishing for Finance. I'm not in the mood to start off my first day with a very complicated subject on technology...

And the results are out....only this time around, instead of posting them in the Intranet, we have to get them at the General Office. Smart!

Finally got my results. Suffice to say, I'm extremely happy with my results. Didn't expect them though. Thought I screwed up Psychology. GPA is wayyyy better than first sem's. THAT kept me smiling. Lets just hope I'll do well this sem too.

So, first day of 3rd sem is going well so far. Except Finance is starting to get to me. Bloody complicating. I didn't understand a word the lecturer said. And all them fundamentals I learnt in Account and Econs flew out of my head the moment I needed them.

I have another lecture to go and a tutorial. Being that this is our short sem, all tutorials and practicals will start in the first week.

Upside, no classes on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. So that means, if I wanna go back to Ipoh, I can cabut on Thursdays. Ahahahaha! Suh-weet!
