THE COVENANT ROCKS!

Great sound effect, great actors (read : HOT..Them four), great background music and great montage. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen cause the montage was just sooo good. It showed the Book Of Damnation, and pictures of the Ipswich family and the condemned ones. And the music, BRILL - O, I say! Even USD who was so tired and nearly fell asleep during the trailer showing stayed awake throughout the movie.

I seriously think they should have a sequel cause it was really good, in my opinion at least. And I definitely want to get the VCD or DVD.

And then, I bought a new book. Dark Angel by Sally Beauman. Also about witchcraft and wizardry.

And a Hot Wheels give pack for Daddy in conjunction of his birthday tomorrow. Cost us RM25 but I love them cars!

I'll keep this entry short. Kinda tired. Plus I've Sociology lecture tomorrow. At 11 am. SmaHrt!

Daddy : Aiyer, like that no fun la. I want to celebrate with my daughter….

I love that guy more and more and more each day. LOL.

Anyhoo, since I can’t join him today at MV, he decided to hold a birthday lunch with us at the MC café. We gave him his present, the Hot Wheels gift pack. And the first question he asked was,

“Can play with the cars or not?”

Ms Pauline : Say your subject is very elusive. Therefore, you can read up his biodata so that you know what are his likes or dislikes and use them to your advantage. Say your subject likes to get up early and go swimming. You can wait for him at the swimming pool and then say what?!

Pei Wen : Give him a towel.

Mr Boo : You're a journalist not the cabana boy.

Cerenna : Tell him you just need a few minutes of his time..

Ms Pauline : Good. But what if he doesn't want to give you any chance at all?!

Me : Push him into the pool..

Sze Yi : But he's already in the pool..

Me : Oh, then just push his head into the water and threaten to drown him...

Zi Yun : Or we can just drain the pool..

Yeah, thank God NONE of us will be majoring in Journalism.

I feel like I'm back in form four. When all that I felt was just stress. Loads of them.

The don't-ask-me-stupid-questions-or-I'll-snap kinda stress....

Until,

Azuan told me we're invited to the next UNICEF - JKMM camp next week!

Upside, if we kick ass during the camp(who are we kidding, of course we will!)we might represent Malaysia for some kind of UNICEF conference next year. It's not a sure thing yet.

And then there're the old campers and new ones.

Downside, we might not be able to go as the camp will be held from the 23rd to the 26th November 2006. Of course, I have classes AND a Marketing mid term next Saturday. Ime's in Ipoh for her sem break. Sham will be starting his second sem next week.

And then there's the whole bunch of SPM kids we'll miss this year like Dayat and Adam.

Plus I don't know if the Sarawak kids can go or not. Most of them are in Matrix and some are in public unis. I mean, it's SO not fun if they are not there....

Business Writing mid term was suHcky!

I got confused while checking my answers…

Definitiley NOT the day for us.

First, we got to campus late because STEWPID HELP bus won’t budge cause the driver was too busy scolding the students for God – knows – what.

Then, Ms Rajamalar came in 45 minutes late…Waiting for your tutor for 45 very long minutes without eating breakfast beforehand is NOT FUN. Trust me on this..

She came in late, discussed our tutorial answers, had a public speaking session just to while the time away…We’ll be having debate though next week and already my classmates are planning to throw Pei Wen and me in the same team just to keep us from killing each other…

Off to Marketing lecture we went after that. AND something EXTREMELY EXTREMELEY EXTREMELY GOOD happened..I love you oh-so-much for that! Make me laugh again next time!

And then our bad luck continued when NONE of the millions of plug points in PD006 worked. At first, John thought it was either the laptop or the OHP that was screwed up. He called in the campus technician and one magic touch, it was all resolved…

Lunch in the café was not fun either. Saw this lecturer that we hate cause she doesn’t have the aura of a lecturer nor the attitude either. Tell me, what kinda lecturer cuts queues while waiting for the UTAR bus? What kinda lecturer flings a student’s bag onto the ground just because she wants to sit at THAT particular table? But her students love her, THAT I don’t understand.

And unfortunately for us(of course) today we’re supposed to have Mr Pek’s class. Mr Pek was fun until last week when he came in after a meeting with some student’s parents all fired up. Then he started firing us like crazy about how WE never appreciate our parents and how WE never thank them for their effort etc. And then he said that if we don’t pay attention in his class for one second even, he’ll chase us out of the class. Yeah, now I’m even scared of even breathing in his class.

And then, a lucky thing happened when Ms Quah took over the class for the day since Mr Pek had something to do.

Now only if we can do something to keep her in our class….

And I'm soooo tempted to just grab the second console and join her.

She's playing NFS Carbon. UNFAIRNESS!

Yesterday we spent two hours finishing Metal Slug and another hour and 45 minutes finishing the second instalment. Too easy, that game.

Two nights ago we played Monster House which was stupidly scary. And we didn't even get past the FIRST frame even after nearly an hour of trying.

And then, BARNYARD! Stupidly childish game. But I got to make them cows DANCE!.....

No wonder I always complaint of not having enough time...

Mock press conference was today. I was super excited about the whole thing. Should have seen our class. Balan decorated the whole place with confettis and crepe papers...And we had Garfield posters all over the place..

I role played as the director, Tim Hill. USD was the PRO. Zi Yun was Jen Love Hewitt and Sze Yi was Bill Murray.

During the whole time we role played, camera flashes were everywhere. My classmates did the Mexican wave a couple of minutes into the whole thing, to show support, they said. It was just like a real press conference. Except people don't do the Mexican wave in the middle of the real thing...

Then, Sociology test. Had two hours to kill. So we lepak - ed at B1 barefooted. KI was there, alone. Got him to join us with the condition that he takes of his sneakers too. Which he did...

Anytheway, Sociology was ohkay, I guess. Forgot the definition of Shaman. The only word that kept playing in my mind was "causal theories" which has nothing to do whatsoever with Sociology..

Then, we had Psych mid term pulak..But it was enjoyable cause of the people and the invigilator. We had Pei Boon who is this super cool tutor whose voice reminds me of Yifangsaurus. Plus the white board was decorated with "Malaysia Boleh! Kita Boleh!" "We Rock!" "Are we kicking ass today?! YEAHHH!" courtesy of, ehem, Balan, Mr Boo, John, Zhen, KI, Pei Wen and Ben..So the whole test was done in a relaxed manner...

After the whole thing done. Thought I finally will have time to take a nap when I get back..Then I remember I have Mr Pek's class tomorrow...

So unless I wanna die young, I should begin reading last week's notes. Urgh

First, I lost my charm...

Not THAT kinda charm, the other charm. The kinda charm you find on charmbracelets. I lost the one shaped like a present. USD, Sze Yi and KI stayed behind and looked for it but it was gone.

Then Marketing midterm, this lecturer came inside the hall and started to check certain people's answer sheets, including MINE, and skipping a few others'.

Right after he gave me back my answer sheets, I lost all willpower to even recheck my answers. I just got up and stomped my way out of the exam hall.

Everyone has been telling me that the guy were just checking if anyone brought any notes inside but no amount of soothing can actually douse my anger. I just felt like pushing him into the big drain in front of the Nissan showroom..

Do you know that even the SLIGHTEST insinuation that I was cheating can actually hurt MY ego?! Because there were others who were actually cheating and they were looked over while I who had ZERO intentions of even copying had to endure looking at the STUPID LECTURER touching MY sacred answer sheets?!

Thank God for the rain..

I shouldn't be blogging right now. I should be studying for tomorrow's midterm. But then, methinks, since when have I actually stuck to my resolutions, long term or short term. So, SCREW MANAGEMENT!

So, Wan cheered me up last night with deeeetails about the UNICEF - JKMM camp :

~ 138 participants, 9 fascilitators. And they were nearly thrown out of the hotel no thanks to the incessant disturbance the kids caused...

~ Dan showed up for one night...with his girlfriend. Quoting Wan, " Dan datang, satu malam jek. Itupun tunjuk muke. Pastu bawak girlfriend die, tayang kat sumer org. Menyampah!"

~ They had official T-shirts. Wan wanted to take back a few T-shirts for us but Aunty Amy said "No!". Why am I not surprised?!

~ Aunty Amy totally forgotten about us. She thought Wan was Syafiq. She didn't ask about any other Perakians. And she kept saying that "the camp would be even better with Dan and Marsh here(there)"

~ Aunty Mumtaz meanwhile, asked about US! I LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE HER!

~ Next camp will be held in March, in conjunction with the week long school holidays.

~ Total of old campers: 9. Ash, Wan, Safwan, Jas, Nisa, Franz and I forgot who else. (Sunil didn't come cause he's currently in MMU Malacca)The others couldn't make it. SPM, matrix, finals. Old campers from Sarawak also didn't show up. Aunty Amy (again!) said it's too expensive to fly them all here, So, they only brought new campers.

~ One boy from Perak was chosen to represent Malaysia in some regional meeting in Manila next year. Coolieesss! I told you Perakians kick ass!

And then, Ms Rajamalar gave us our debate topics. And Pei Wen suggested that we pool our arguments together. So while we were discussing the merits or demerits of sharing our points :

Me : But then, you'll be taking away the fun of debating!
Cerenna : Besides, our arguments will be the same. It's not fun!
Aileen : Yalah, it'll be like a discussion more than a debate.

After 30 minutes, but what felt like a whole year of my life :

Pei Wen : So, no one agrees with this idea?!
Me : Majority doesn't agree...
Pei Wen : Actually, I don't like the idea of poling our arguments too.
Me : THEN WHY DID YOU BRING IT UP IN THE FIRST PLACE?!

See, no wonder we always fight.
