 Phone Etiquette 101

1) When u got the wrong num..

- apologise..n hang up politely..not go "e'eleh...blah la lu!...or.."x nak ckp sudahlah!"...

2) When picking up the phone...

- greet...dun keep quiet..TALK!..i hv a friend, who has an elder brother who is EXTREMELY QUIET, dat he will not say ANYTHING when picking up the phone...for example:

Me:Hello?!

Him:......

Me: Hellooooo...

Him:......

Until....

Me: May i plz speak to ika?!

then, n ONLY then will he put down the phone n get his sister.. 

3) When calling sumone to the phone...

- plzplzplzplz,purleeeezzzz, don't scream while u r still on it..i dun wanna be deaf yet...i like to hear the sounds of nature still...

4) When u r called ova to the phone..

- dun dilly dally...other ppl hv lives ye noe...they dun spend their time waiting for u to get off yer layzee arse n walk the 3 essential steps to pick up the receiver ye noe...for example:

Me: Wafi, phone!

My bro: urmmm...

3 mins later, i went to check on my bro..

n guess wert?!..he ws tossing n turning in his bed...STILL!

Me: Wafi, phone!

My bro: yeahhh...so?!

Me: IT'S FOR U...DOINK!

My bro: Who is it?!

Me: Try picking up the phone n finding it out for yerself.. 

6) When asking for sumone,use their full name...

- dun use their nicknames...in case u hven't noticed, not eryone noes who is yer "sweetie pie"  or yer "pinky" or yer "intan jantung pengarang hati"...

7) When u got the wrong number, say SORRY,n hang up...

- and dun call back, INSISTING dat u hv the rite num and INSISTING dat u muz talk to timah or senah or ah seng or raju...HANG UP ALREADY!

yesterday, i watched ripleys believe it or not n they were about to drop off this gigantic rubber band ball from a plane 6000 ft up in the air..n the ripley ppl asked the spectators to predict the outcome of the fall...n one woman went;

"the ball will bounce...definitely!..i mean,anything that falls down from a plane will bounce..." 

 uh, ma'am.....in case u hven't noticed, if human beings r thrown off a plane 6000 ft from the ground...we won't be going BOINK-BOINK-BOINK...we will go SPLAT!

reasons y i hven't been updating much..

1)...layzee...

2)..i ws at ime's..internet connection sucked 4 like a coupla days...v were both deprived of cyber life for a couple days...TORTURE i tell ya!...

3)n when i did got a hold of her comp, din rily feel like hogging it...

reasons y i hv to get back to blogging..

1)i need to release sum pent-up energy...

2)ime left for kl...so, i need to rely on my entries to keep me entertained...since ERYBODY else's not updating!..

anyhoo,alex came to ipoh laz week...n v had a lotta KICK ASS time together!...

ime n i had a hard time figuring out where to take him...considering he already said, n i quote,.."ipoh is lousier than kuching!"..(but when i askd him y he sed dat, he explained dat ipoh's lousier, signboards-wise...in kch, signboards r usually erywhere...)..i asked eryone where to take him...a couple of friends,jared n azuan..n the two lads immediately suggested "belakang ocean"..it's a running joke between us..coz when we asked each other to name one thing associated to ipoh...no one can come up wit anything other than the food thr...until azuan came up wit "belakang ocean"..where thr r a lot of illegal bussinesses going around..so, we did a sketch based on "belakang ocean"..

anyway, ime invited ber to join us for raya recently..so, she came a few mins earlier than alex..n they got along riiiiillllyyy well, considering i juz left them for a few secs..when i came bc downstairs,they were talking bout almoz erything under the weather!..i think their "borneo connections"(ber's frm sabah) mite hv helped...

so, i took them to c the korban..n they oni stood in front of my gate..n when i prodded them onwards..

me:go in front a bit la u two..

alex: won't the blood spurt onto us?!

..i think they enjoyed it...or alex did..ber cudn't watch it..while alex juz kept moving around, jostling for a decent view of the slaying..

n then we hopped into ime's car n went ova to her house...ate summore..n alex cudn't stop munching on ime's self-made jam tarts..i've to admit they're delish!then, ime took us around her neighbourhood,n nearly ended up LOST!...while walking,ime n i ditched alex n ber n took another route juz to c if they wud realise us missing,coz they were toooooo engrossed, talking...n they din even look at us once!

afta dat, we went to jusco....met up wit azuan n syafiq..they look riiillllyyy good in their uniforms..while waiting for azuan's shift to end,we went on a tour around jj..ended up at secret recipe, while alex went to hv a look around,ending up in him announcing,"there's nothing here".. after bout half an hour waiting for azuan, ime n i went down to check up on him, n ended up hving drinks thr...azuan personally made them for us..n charged them to his account...sweet sweet guy!

n when he did finish his shift, he joined us n we went to take piccies at capcom..check them put on my friendster or ime's blog..sorry syafiq wasn't there or it wud hv been more fun!

caught up wit syafiq n hour later..went bowling..poor guy, he had temporary ADD...he had a headache which i oni found out halfway into the game, afta i had to repeat erything i sed at least twice...we ended up hving a good laugh, coz syafiq kept throwing the balls into the gutter which got azuan frustrated, n he wanted to switch teams...but at the end of da day, azuan ws coaching syafiq on how to bowl..n their team ended up winning!..

after a long day, we went bc..i went bc to ime's place..n azimah joined us a few hours later..had a girl talk wit azie...the last time i saw her ws during our agama paper...i miss that girl!

we went for breakfast the next day wit the guyz..went to hollywood, in canning garden...had soooo much fun telling stories bout our school..bad-mouthing the teachers...had a good laugh there...then, azuan sent us to grand view....met alex's grandfather..sent alex off..discussed about how it wud be our turn to go to s'wak next..n ended up nearly planning the whole trip...later that nite, chatted wit alex n ber...n told him bout our future plans to go to swk, complete wit our lodging plans... arrival n departure plans...made me miss the swk lot..

the next day, met up wit jared, azuan n sham for our first crc meeting had it in dr park.. n ime got rashes at the end of da day, caused by insect bites.....n azuan made sandwiches for me!...it seems i asked him to make them..did i?!..but nvrtheless, thx much dude!...muaxxx!!!

next day, went to ipoh international school to meet up wit mr louis...i like him, he's soooo co-operative n very nice..very fatherly..n when we got bc to ime's place, zonked out on the couch until 7 sumthing...plus, ime was jabbed a few hours before cause of her rashes...pity dat gal, she cudn't move her arm..she ws paralysed temporarily...MBWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!...

and dat's about it...i'm glad i dun rily hv ne plans after this...i'm tooo tired to go out in the near future..

p/s:...pn siva wants ime n i(well, basically, ex 5th formers who r doing basically nthg rite now..)to TEACH!...yeah, rite!..me n teaching dun rily mix...i mite corrupt them in sum way..
