~ TOTallyTOT. Torch.

I owe a lot of people A LOT of updates. Haha.

First off, EJ, Peoy & Ling are baaaaccccckkkkkk!!! Did you know how happy that fact made me? I haven't seen them in ages! Rindu tahap maksima okay! Mia's coming home next week if I'm not mistaken. Can't wait to see her too!

Anyway, on to a different topic, for the uninformed, I'm in my final year wei. That sounds important doesn't it? It surely does make me feel grown up. Lol. But I do wish people would stop pointing out that I'll be graduating soon because at this rate, I'm not too sure about being able to graduate alongside my friends. No worries though, negative thinking aside, I'm taking it one day at a time.

Trying not to let myself be consumed with all the stress that comes with final year is, I think, the hardest challenge I've ever faced up-to-date. There have been times when just the thought of assignments and the countless proposals and research and reading we have to do can shut me up with worry for a couple of hours at the very least.

But, in a way I do feel thankful that I'm not going through this alone. My classmates are going through the same thing so if I feel the need to vent, I can always go to them. Plus, Ber did say that enjoying what I'm studying may also help with the stress, which is actually true. I'm particularly excited about the PR campaign we'll be organising next sem and my FYP topic (proposal's due next week, so lets all pray that my topic will be accepted with smiles the size of Texas..)

Uni life aside, congrats are in order to my friends who got accepted to continue their undergraduate studies in public unis. They all got their first choices which was cool gile sebab bukan senang nak dapat unless your pointer is absolutelygoddamnamazing in the first place.

Anyway, sebelum mengundurkan diri, to the people who just got back, lets meet up okay!

~ TOTallyTOT. Battle Cry.

Okay people (when I say people, I mean my classmates who are reading this), heads up.

Lets all pray that our Creative Strategy for Advertising tutor will be nothing like the Green Snake or that other tutor we had for Ad Copywriting. Lets hope that the tutor will be fun and likeable, for once (no offence to advertising students out there, but my friends and I are a bit prejudiced when it comes to advertising tutors because from what we've experienced, they came from the same mould and not a good mould pulak tu)

Lets also pray that our "darling" Crisis Management lecturer - cum - tutor will behave herself and stop being so discriminating towards the other half of the class because it makes for unpleasant one and a half hour. Lets also hope that she will stop ranting about her problems to us because lets face it, we were and still will never be interested to apply for the BFF position. Even thinking about it gives me nightmares.

Lets be nice and polite in Advanced PR Writing lectures because I've heard rumors that the lecturer's worst than Gertrude.

Oh and last but not least, lets have fun and try not to kill each other this sem, okay?!

See you guys on Monday!

=)

~ TOTallyTOT. Making A Move.

You know how most people have this idea that girls plan their weddings the moment they hit puberty or maybe even younger for some. I'd be lying if I were to say that I have never thought of what my wedding would be like but I've only ever gotten past the theme colour and that too changes every few years or so. But you know what's the one thing I am positive about?!

My bridesmaids!

Haha. I found this one bumper sticker that went something like,

"You don't go to college to find your husband, you go to find your bridesmaids"

Well, lucky for me I didn't have to wait until college to find them. I found them while still in school. I have to admit that I thought once we stepped out of school and into the real world, we'd most probably forget each other and find new people to hang out with and lets face it, it happens doesn't it? But some of those girls stuck with me while others turned from friends into mere acquaintances.

After all these years of laughters, tears, fights, stupid jokes, silly insults, heartbreaks and sleepovers, I can honestly and proudly say that I'll be having 6 bridesmaids.

One of them will have the honour of being the maid of honour, of course, but that they have to decide themselves. Coin toss ke, lai lai li li lai tam plom ke, cabut straw ke I couldn't care less. I just want them to be there, planning or in other words, slaving away to make my wedding perfect. LOL.

Oh and Danny, if say you are not the groom (remember our pact?! Lol) you are to be made the honorary male version of the bridesmaid which makes you the honorary bridesman?! Haha. Or if any of my friends can't decide who's to be my maid of honour, you, my dear shall take their place as the man of honour. I'm counting on you, okay?! Hehe...

~ TOTallyTOT. Dream On.

I. Have. Lost. My. Mojo.

Seriously! It kinda explains why I seldom write anymore. *blergh*

Anyway, ever since I've been on holidays, I've found out a few things:

:: Lipstick Jungle's not bad actually. Robert Buckley topless in every episode is just an extra point. Haha

:: My late grandfather on my mother's side originally came from Indonesia. He and his brother came by boat. How cool is that?! The boat part I mean..

:: My mum identifies with Nora Walker from Brothers & Sisters which is a bit scary because she'd started seeing us in the Walker kids.

:: Based on a few conversations I have been having with a friend, I can conclude that people, WE ARE GROWING UP!  I mean, there were some topics that we used to avoid but now, different story wei. Scary but exciting nevertheless. Haha

:: I enjoy doing Sudoku nowadays, thanks to Sam.

:: The world's insane and I'm asking you to be a part of it. =)

~ TOTallyTOT. Mad.

The best part about being at home (apart from being able to laze around, chase my cat, annoy my mum yadayadayada..) is that I have unlimited access to the WiFi.

The annoying part is that said WiFi sucks to no end lately that I have to refresh my browser every few minutes or so.

Today is day 5 of my being back at home. Unproductive so far unless you count the two sudokus I finished just now (Difficulty rating's easy btw. Beginner wert..) and finishing the Summer Garden after so long. Oh, I tried cooking yesterday. Fish head curry. Don't worry, the mother was in the kitchen. I wanted to help her cook and then after a few of, "Okay, sekarang masukkan yang (insert name of veggie or condiments) kan?!", she said, " Kan Kak Ngah pernah tolong mama masak, so takkan tak ingat kot.." In truth manelah I ingat! But lucky thing no complaints from the brother or the father so I guess brava me! Haha.

Anyway, will be heading to Penang tonight because the father has work tomorrow morning in Kulim. And yes, my Geography is intact thank you very much. I know Kulim and Penang are in two different states but we will be staying over at the grandma's house in Penang and Papa will head off to Kulim in the morning. See, Geography A+. Haha.

And before I go off, to those who are in the midst of suffering from final exams fever,

All the best people and may you all kick ass! Hehe

And to the UTAR-ians, I know your first papers are only starting on Saturday, but go study already! I keep seeing you guys on Facebook. Sheesh. =P
